Fabric & Finishings
Our scales are made from 100% Italian silk twill weave. This silk has a beautiful soft yet strong weave. Although it is soft silk, it is the most hard-wearing of the silk family, soft to the touch with a medium weight and gentle lustre. Its silky smoothness provides a delicious feel and a pleasing drape. Each thread is ethically sourced from Como, Italy—the silk capital of the world—and GOTS + ICEA certified, ensuring organic, environmentally conscious production and fair labor practices.
Expertly finished by skilled artisans, each scarf features hand-rolled or delicately pin-hemmed edges—the beauty truly is in the details.
Care
We recommend dry clean only. When doing so please check your dry cleaner is aware of dry cleaning silk and silk wools.
Alternatively, you can hand wash in tepid water with a specialist silk-friendly detergent, rinsing in cold water. Iron on a low heat.
Never machine wash or tumble dry.
